Socks (top right) is definately the active cat. She is 9 pounds, and loves to play! I will admit she likes to hear herself talk at times, I've often wondered if she suffers from anxiety, but is a great cat to cuddle and play. The vet says she is in perfect health.
Lilac (bottom left) is a very pretty kitty. The picture does not even do her justice. She also has longer hair, but with brushing and shaving is able to keep it to a minimum. She is 11.5 pounds, and as with the others, loves to play and cuddle. She will probably be a little shy at first, but will definately warm up. Lilac is healthy, except for her teeth that may need to be cleaned in the next year...says the vet!
Tiger (bottom right) is the greatest companion cat, but with him comes great responsibility. He almost lost his life a couple years ago, and was saved after being diagnosed with Diabetes. He gets insulin shots twice a day (morning and night), but he takes them very well. He also has no tail - it was removed a few years ago due to a syst. He very recently got his teeth cleaned and a couple extracted. He really has been through a lot the last couple years, but continues to be a strong and VERY loving cat. He absolutely loves to cuddle, and plays some too. He is 8 pounds, and continuing to get better.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Pupcicle. My owners think that I am possession. They provide me with food and water and a kennel. One thing they also did was chain me up in my kennel that has 6 foot high walls. They want to make sure I can't get out. They also provided me with a dog house.
There were a few things they forgot. 1) To provide me with a chain long enough so I could have access to my dog house. 2) They put me in a location that did not guarded me from the nasty cold weather. I now reside on the north side of a building where the Northwest wind could get to me. They did not put protection up on the northwest side of my kennel to protect me from the wind. When the sun is out, I can't get added warmth from it since I'm on the north side of the building.
Some nice people are very concerned for me but they are afraid that their help will come to late. They think that I'm at the rainbow bridge. I'm curled up in a ball to try to keep my body tempature as high as my little boby can. I, too, believe that I might be approaching the rainbow bridge.
Wonder if my owners noticed that I haven't eat my dog food?? Wonder if they have noticed I haven't moved from the same spot in 24 hours?? The people who are concerned about me have noticed that I haven't moved or answered them when they talk to me. Wonder if my owners are ever going to check on me (besides just sliding new dog food into me) ?? Can't they just pet me (to feel my body tempature)?? Don't my owner's know that a little attemtion will warm me up mentally and physically?? Why can't they just take the time to check on me???
If anyone sees an animal is in trouble, please have the owners investigates. This winter has been really harsh and pets need to be properly taken care of. Besides having food and water, we need to have proper shelter from the cold. DO NOT TAKE US FROM THE SITUATION BUT REPORT IT TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY. Make sure they investigate the report. Taking us only makes you a criminal for stealing us. Again report it to the proper authorities and follow up on it! It just might save another life even though it might be too late for mine.

I have the sweetest Lab/Retriever a person could ever want, …..but unfortunately she had 8 absolutely adorable puppies, 4 males & 4 females.
(obviously I didn’t get her spayed in time, truly sorry for that)
They were born Dec. 1st and they are now weaned & eating puppy food & drinking water.
The daddy is a big White Labrador. (daughters dog I was babysitting at the time, which was my ignorance thinking she was to young)
I will be using the money to get her FIXED.
The rehoming fee is $75. (NEGOTIABLE). each to also insure they get a very loving home,
I am NOT a breeder!
If this posting gets flagged, then I guess no one wants them & they will have to go to the ARL or there are heartless people out there that have no feelings for a puppy to have a chance to find a loving home.

this is the cutest and sweetest little guy. he will even curl up in your arms and let u hold him like a baby and go to sleep with him that way if u want to. i have had him for about a year and he is potty trained now. when we first got him we didnt know what to name him so we thought maybe Bandit because he would steal things and also cuz of the black circles around his eyes but we didnt exactly like the name so then we thought about Houdini cuz we would put sturdy baricades up and he would some how escape. so we decided to put the names together and we call him Bandini. he has papers and is up to date on his shots. he loves kids and other cats and dogs. very playful and loves to show affection. his date of birth is dec 17th 2008 so he is just over a year old now. i am moving and cant bring him with me. and the rest of my family cant take him in because they have enough pets already. hate to part with him but i need to find him a good forever home so he can grow old with a family that will love him. i will post more pics tmrw. re-homing fee of $300.00. please call nancy at 419-7077 des moines area code or text. or e-mail me at nancerett@hotmail.com SOME HATER KEEPS FLAGGING ME. This is absolutely FALSE, Top breeders in the breed will NOT sell to high volume, back yard breeders or puppymills. So how can you have top lines??????
I am active in the show community and I see tons of licensed kennels who sell dogs that don't even look like the breed they are supposed to be, there is a
licensed kennel right now selling puppies with heart murmurs and luxating patellas and continues to breed. Of ALL of the reputable breeders I know in my breed and others, ones that are
members of their national breed club, are barred from selling to facilities like described as outlined by their club's by-laws.
A good breeder is one who breeds to better the quality and health while maintaining the specific characteristics that define each breed. These breeders check hips, elbows, eyes, heart, thyroid, etc, for specific breeds they even do hearing check and genetic marker tests to ensure true health. They breed for correct bites, decended testicle and free from hernias. There is not way to 100% guarentee pure health but by certifying clear of those health issues the most precautions are taken. Breeding for temperment is as much of a priority as well. Not just putting Butch and Bella together in the back yard or in a confined space and make babies.
There are pedigrees to research and improvements to be made, on the more rare occasion true breeders will repeat a breeding but they do not just put Butch and Bella together over and over and over.
A real breeder can tell you why the two dogs were paired together to meet the breed standard. AKC and UKC are the only registries that have any real championship title that carries weight. All these APR, CKC, ect are just pieces of paper that hold no merit~!
People really need to do research on their desired breed then ask the breeder what they know about the breed, many can't even spell the name of the breed they are breeding.
for those of you that need: you spell DACHSHUND like this, come on people, you spend more time shopping for your groceries than you do looking for a good breeder, one that is really trying to preserve the special qualities that define each breed.

the weight management food is designed for over weight dogs of larger size, 50lbs+
the 50/50 mixed food is designed for dogs that need to gain weight, are very active or need extra fat/protein in their diets.
the foods are sitting in 5 gallon plastic buckets and are full to the top. for the weight management food im asking $10 with the bucket, and for the high calorie mixed food im asking $25 with the buckets. food is also available without buckets if you want.
im not using these foods anymore because the overweight dog passed away and the high calorie food isnt getting eaten by my underweight dog - have to switch his food asap.
