Political post.....in the political forum (DM)

I have noticed that most people do not understand the idea of posting political posts on the CL “political” forum. It all ends up in the R&R section where it is mixed with topics ranging from bikers and their spandex clothing or people whining about their failed exploits to find their one night stand, married or not. I would like to do something odd and actually post this to the political forum. Bare with me, as I know this may become a shock to most!

If you were to look at the recent R&R posts pertaining to politics, you would see that it is filled with pro/anti-Obama and anti-Bush ramblings. I can’t get over the fact that with all the information that is available to anyone with a computer, and half a brain, that more people have not figured out what is going on in the world! Can anyone seriously admit that Obama has been doing the work that he campaigned on? Can anyone, even Conservatives, defend bush in any way if they are a true conservative? The answer to both is no!

During the time leading up to the last election, America was at a breaking point. We were tired of massive corruption, theft of our tax money by the Gov’t and by the Wall Street bankers. We needed to find someone that would take on the corruption and theft on behalf of the American public. We were also tired of the “Race Card” being thrown at us at every turn in our lives. So when Obama came to the scene, many Americans believed him when he said the Gov’t would be “transparent” and that Wall Street had no place in his administration. We all know now that this was a lie. His office is filled will bankers almost exclusively. I also believe his race was used to his advantage to get elected. The average white American saw this as a chance to debunk the race debate once and for all. It has not changed a thing in regards to race relations.

Bush was not one bit better than Obama. He campaigned as a “Reagen Conservative” and that he sought to duplicate the success of the late 80’s and early 90’s. He claimed that he would be fiscally responsible and would fight the socialization of our country by the radical Left. Bush, just like Obama, did exactly the opposite of what he said he would do in his campaign. Bush spent more money than any other Republican president and I would say he spent more than any president in history, only to be outdone by Obama. He signed bills like the Patriot Act and No Child Left Behind. These are some of the most “socialistic” programs we have seen since the Social Security Act signed by FDR! Bush also claimed to believe that the Federal Gov’t should restrict its size as to not become too large an entity. With the 9/11 attack as his mandate, he expanded the Gov’t to include many more Gov’t programs, employees and oversights into the daily life of all Americans.

So it is safe to say that we have been given great insight into the political minds of both the Left and the Right. We now know that their agenda is one in the same! There is not a single difference between the Dem’s and Rep’s. They both believe in the “right” of the Gov’t to use tax money to bailout their friends in trouble (Wall Street), to wage wars just to profit their private industry friends and to take over land from other nations with the false intention of “spreading democracy”.

So when I see the ramblings of people on the Left or Right, I can’t help but laugh at the fact that they are arguing over two different sides of the same coin. It doesn’t matter what side you choose, it still has the same value. Obama and Bush are simply salesmen to the public, and they are trying to sell you your own lives. To debate who is better, Left Vs. Right, is to argue over a false “choice” that you have. You have no choice. You have no say in what happens. Because you only have two choices when you vote……and both are here to complete the same task. Go ahead and defend your misinformed, cookie-cutter politics that you were trained to do. Just be aware that you are mistakenly doing the work for the people you probably disagree with.
