My wife and I have a fractional ownership at the Westin Kaanpali Resort in Maui. This premium property is a two bedroom deluxe corner lock-off unit. The larger side of the lock-off can sleep up to 6 and has over 1250 square feet. The other side of the lock-off is a smaller sized one bedroom that can sleep up to four. Both sides have king beds, queen pullouts and full bathroom. Each side also has a washer/dryer and kitchen with granite countertops and premium appliances. Currently I have the property (both lock-off units) reserved for the week of March 13th during Spring Break however the dates can be changed. The only week I cannot rent is during the Christmas holiday season. My wife and I live in the Ankeny area. Not only is it a Westin property, but it is located in a great area on the island - Kaanapali. You can swim and snorkel right off the beach in front of the property. We are Minnesota owners of a lovely private house in the Orlando area which is 3 miles to the Disney Property. We love to visit it for a few weeks a year in the winter, and rent it out the rest of the year to others escaping the cold or snow, or simply enjoying sunny Florida. We have great local managers who are available 24/7 to keep it in great shape.

The highlight of the house is its completely private, southern facing swimming pool! The kids love hanging out in our backyard by the pool much more than the theme parks. The house is completely furnished, with all bedding, linens, kitchen items, books, games, videos, etc. The house has a full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, baby stuff (crib, stroller, etc.), wireless internet, and 3 tvs with cable and dvd players.

The house is close enough to Disney that you can come home from the parks for lunch and a swim/nap, then return in the afternoon. You can save hundreds of dollars staying in a house too, where you can make some of your own meals. The grocery store is one mile away on the highway 192 strip, where there are also tons of restaurants and take out places, along with plenty of other Orlando attractions.
