VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP FOSTER CHILDREN

Iowa Friends of Foster Children Foundation provides funding opportunities to foster children that will allow them to participate in activities such as sports, summer camp and their senior prom. The Friends Foundation is looking for people to serve on their board and help plan for their upcoming walk fundraiser which will be held in Des Moines on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Volunteers are needed to help increase public awareness, find walk sponsors, seek in-kind donations, increase fundraising efforts and help with media outreach. The board/walk planning committee typically meets monthly (on Wednesdays at 3:30pm) in Ankeny.
