You put on the record, close the lid and the needle on the tone arm/head inside the lid sets down at the edge of the record. I had not tried it in a long time, so I was a little surprised it still worked. My batteries are about to the end of their useful life, so some new ones should speed it up a bit. Might try adding a new needle for better fidelity. Machine is complete, with no damages.

I make frequent trips to the Des Moines area and can meet with a buyer in some convenient location for the sale.
