Two cassette tape players/recorders, different brands but same basic design, in carrying cases. The Sony player advances the tape properly, and the amp hisses a little bit like it should work, but I can't get any music out of it. The Marantz player played part of a tape, but then ruined my tape by wrapping it around and around the rubber wheel. The mechanism works, and the amp works, but the center spindle was not wrapping up the tape as fast as it was getting pulled through. I think some cleaning and a couple drops of oil in the proper places would cure it. If you'd like to buy just one, the price would be $30.
The players can be taken out of the case and used as a portable, or connected to the two extension speakers for stereo sound. The Sony has a microphone and stand with it. Don't believe the Marantz one does. Sony also has a strap for over the shoulder, for carrying. Carrying cases are in decent condition for their age, handles are intact, and zippers work properly.
I make occasional trips to the Des Moines area and would be glad to meet with a buyer in some convenient location for the sale.
