The Co. had it's very own Mono Typeface created for the Royal Signet.
It's called "Sans Serif Italic Font"
The 1932 Royal Signet is a stripped down model designed for home use
Designed as a No-Frills typewriter for home use.
No Shift Key, which means there is "No Upper & lower Case" it types capital letters Only
No Backspace
No Margin
No Bell
No Tabulator key
& No Color Ribbon Selector
Remember this was a No-Frill Typewriter
Caps Only, no lower case
for the letter "i" a person used the letter L
Back then the zero was sacrificed in this model
So a person had to use the letter "O" for zeros
All The Keys work & don't stick
When I look at, it's hard to believe it's 93 years old.
As you can see the handle is broken on the case.
The case does have more wear & tear than the typewriter
But it still keeps the typewriter safely inside
