1990- A year that saw the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope, the reunification of Germany, and the song “Hold On” by Wilson Phillips topping the charts. Also notable was the build of Bridgestone MB-4 Trailblazer!
This 'project bike' was procured from seller who stripped paint, then it sat for ???? What do I do - why not give it the Iowa Black and Gold !!!
Bridgestone's of late 80s and early 90s were designed by Grant Peterson, who later started Rivendale Bicycle Works. His mtn bike designs were considered revolutionary and today nearly every mtn bike copies it.
Cool look, solid frame, quality components w/ 1x6 gearing: Tange chrome moly double-butted frame, fork / stays, Sugino GP crank, Richie Logic headset, Shimano derailleur/hubs/freewheel, Suntour top mount thumbie, V-brakes, almost new nobbie tires. Completely rebuilt 2/2024 so ready for the trails!!!
