For sale is this vintage and very collectible August 30, 1954 issue of Sports Illustrated magazine. This is issue 3 and features many interesting articles and photos about major sporting events, such as baseball under the lights, how an American helped Roger Bannister win the mile, a preview of tennis at Forest Hills, Soapbox Derby, Canadian football, praying mantis, and much more.
This magazine is in fine condition considering its age. No missing pages. No tears. No writing or stains. Tight binding. No rust on staples. The top and bottom of the cover do show some minor wear, however.
