The new Yamaha F150XHA and F200XHA 4 stroke motors have built-in steering assist that incorporates their proven electro-hydrualic steering which has been used since 2023. The steering sensitivity can be set for lighter, effortless steering to reduce arm strain during long runs. Or the sensitivity can be set for increased tension, to fit your prefered comfort level.
These motors also features the RPM "troll down" button so you can fine tune your trolling speeds. The trim/tilt button has been relocated to the tip of the tiller handle, which allows for easier operation at all speeds. The tiller handle can be locked in the upright position, which is a benefit for docking manuvers and also while trailering. Unlike other tiller steering systems, the Yamaha steering does NOT need an external hydraulic pump and hoses that take up valuable space in your boat!
