Aftermarket starter for an OMC 5.8 cobra and also many other makes and models. This starter is new old stock (NOS).

Specs: 12V 9 tooth starter
Clock Wise rotation (I believe)

I discovered this box recently when cleaning the garage, but sold the boat about 10 years ago. I don't recall this ever being installed and still looks like new. I believe I was chasing an issue and was unrelated to the starter.

Here is a compatibility list off of Amazon for the starter for the boat I had. It likely is compatible with non marine Ford engines as well.
