THIS IS A VERY HANDSOME AND A RARE COLLECTABLE THAT IS READY TO WEAR.

This Seiko Sea Lion C22 is an outstanding example of one of Seiko's early water-resistant 'Sea Lion' watches (then marketed as "Waterproof".)
The polished and brushed case (original finishes) frames a black dial with polished raised indices, under a flawless, heavily domed crystal.
It features a 17 jewel, Dia shock-equipped hand wind movement with date complication. (Date quick set is via the then-common method of setting the time just past midnight until the date turns over, winding the crown backwards past 10pm, and then forward again to advance the date.)
