The University of Michigan is hiring individuals to work on the American National Election Study (ANES). As a field interviewer, you will go door-to-door screening individuals for eligibility into the ANES Study. You will work a variable schedule, working in a minimum of 4 hour blocks of time.

There is no experience required. We will teach you everything you need to know.

Here’s what we get asked most often:
• $21.50/hour (includes a $3.00 screening differential)
• $300 in potential incentives after your first three months of employment with successful production work
• $2/hour differential for certified English/Spanish bilingual interviewers (bilingual not required)
• Paid training, both online and in-person
• Mileage reimbursement for all business miles
• Coaching and mentoring to help you flourish
• You must live within 60 miles of the Adair County, IA area

Ideal candidates for this Field Interviewer position will:
• Be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Be able to work weekdays, evenings, Saturdays, and/or Sundays
• Attend in-person training in Ann Arbor, MI - July 9th through July 11th, 2024. (travel in July 8th and travel home July 12th.)
