**Updated Price 3/27/26**
Selling my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500. This is a Laramie, extended cab, long bed, manual trans truck.
Truck spent 95% of it’s life out West in a mostly rust-free area. However, it has now been in the Midwest for the past couple of years and I don’t want to see it rot away.
I have meticulously cared for this truck and have upgraded/added more things than can be listed but here are a few starting with drivetrain, steering, and brakes: Fully built NV4500 with upgraded shaft, brand new synchros, and cast-iron tail shaft housing (rebuilt summer of 2024); South Bend Con OFE clutch; Gear Vendors Overdrive unit; Spyntec Hub conversion (Brand new Warn premium hubs summer of 2024); CAD front axle delete (Yukon kit); DT Profab steering-Trac bar and steering box brace; Upgraded brakes including Hydroboost system from 2002 truck, drilled and slotted rotors, PowerStop pads, and larger wheel cylinders in the rear; Thuren coils and Bilstein shocks; HID headlight conversion. Have receipts and manuals for nearly all work completed.
Engine mods: Primarily Power Driven Diesel parts-5x12 injectors, 025 DVs, AFC Live, S&B Intake with PDD filter, PDD intercooler boots; PDD Rack plug (not installed); HX 35/40 turbo w/ Banks elbow and full 4” exhaust; PDD dual valve cover breather kit (not installed). Still have factory sticks and DVs
Interior: Nearly perfect interior for a truck this old. Only 2 very small cracks in the dash. Front seats are heated leather from a 01 truck-driver seat and center console have some tears and wear.
Exterior: Paint is terrible! Typical clear coat failure and needs a full repaint. Rust over both rear wheel wells and starting at the bottom of the doors. However, the rust on the frame and underside is mostly surface at this point.
I’ve owned this truck for over 25 years and never imagined selling it but unfortunately it just sits and I can’t watch it rust away. I am in no rush to sell and will not entertain low ball offers or trades-please don’t waste my time. Feel free to text or call with any questions.
