As the name denotes, the Axiom 25 has 25 keys. They are velocity sensitive, meaning a harder press will register a louder note. There is an octave control to move to lower and higher key ranges as needed, as well as an expression wheel.
The controller also has 8 touchpads that are also velocity sensitive and assignable. It has USB MIDI to connect to your computer or interface, standard MIDI In/Out jacks and inputs for a sustain and expression pedal.
This keyboard is meant to be used with a digital audio workstation. It will not play any sounds on its own. Setup is easy. Just plug the USB cable from the keyboard to your computer and your DAW will recognize it.
