UPDATE I have begun pricing parts individually. So far I have only removed the alternator bracket.
I have for sale a Chevy 6 cylinder engine that has been in storage for some time. I bought it because I was told it was a 292 (the casting numbers show the head as being the same). Upon getting it home I realized that was not the case. I believe it is a 1964 230 cid engine out of a pickup truck. When it was stored, it appears someone nabbed the carburetor and a couple pushrods. Other than that, it appears to be complete. FYI, it does include the Chevy script valve cover that belongs on it as well. Note that is also includes the bell housing, clutch fork, clutch, and flywheel. I was told it ran when it was removed. Beyond that I don't know anything about it.
The head is the same number as a 292 - $75
The bell housing is supposed to allow for a 12" clutch, includes clutch fork - $100
