I have restored a number of ’55 and ’56 Mercury’s over the years. These pieces are off of a dry Western Parts Car that I removed many years ago and had restored for future use. They have been wrapped, boxed and stored for a long time in my office closet.
I just finished my latest ’56 Merc project and have decided to do the car show in a lawn chair thing from now on. I had saved my BEST TWO sets of chrome to use the best pieces on this car. Both sets were virtually flawless and the flaws used to choose one piece over another were TINY, TINY, TINY !!!

These parts are not and never will be reproduced. I removed these pieces from a 1956 Mercury parts car several years ago. This part in any condition is EXTREMELY hard to find.
