Need your water heater fixed or replaced? Then you found the right place. I've had this business going on 12 years now. Our price is much, much cheaper than most companies because we don't have all the overhead and unlike alot of the big companies, the person(me) who comes to your house for any plumbing work is an actual licensed plumber. Most of these companies "plumbers" are just handymen. I worked at a bigger heating/cooling/plumbing company for years and I was the only licensed plumber out of the 4 of us and before i got my license the only licensed plumber was the big boss who never left the office. No joke. If you are even in the market for a new water heater, now is the time, as prices have been going up. If you're thinking of getting a tankless heater, then it's too late to think about when your current water heater breaks down. They take more work and time to complete initially which means we would have to schedule to come look at it, where it would hang and make sure it's even feasable (size of current gas line probably isn't big enough for a tankless and need to get 2-2'' pvc pipes out the side of house), and then come back to install it. Bigger companies may be able to do it the same day because they have a lot more employees but is it worth an extra $1,000-2000 for same day or save that by waiting a day or two? That's is why being proactive is the best way to go if you want a tankless. If you're just replacing with one that's similar then you don't need to plan ahead necessarily but when water heaters get too old they're costing you more money than they should because they're full of sediment and your 40 gal tank is now a 30 gal and the burner has to heat up through the sediment to heat the water so it takes longer and cost you more. The average life of a water heater, I would say, is 7-10 years. Longer if you drain them every year like you're supposed to but no one ever does. Shorter lifespan if you live in WDSM. I will give you a free estimate for tank style heater with just a few pictures from you. I also give free in home estimates for tankless water heaters.
